Hercules is a 1997 American animated musical fantasy film produced by Walt Disney Feature Animation for Walt Disney Pictures. The 35th Disney animated feature film and the eighth animated film produced during the Disney Renaissance, the film was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker. Inspired by Hades and Persephone (Ancient Greek Religion & Lore) We all know the story. Meg sells her soul to Hades to save her boyfriend's life just to have him leave her for another woman. And then comes the boy wonder Hercules who whisks her off her feet, renewing her faith in the male species.

The movie was directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and was produced by The Walt Disney Company. It is the 35th animated movie in the Walt Disney Animated Classics series.
